Who is Tiki Queen, you might ask? Artist Holly Mardis began her alter-ego, Tiki Queen, in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she sold art at the Zoo Fence in Waikiki on weekends. After moving to Maui, she continued creating art, dabbling in everything from acrylic painting, pastel painting, copper embossing, marker illustration and other art media to the graphic art she was trained in. After many years on Maui, Tiki Queen was called home to North Carolina, where she continues to create art and cultivate the love of all things Tiki. She also misses Maui...a lot...and tries to travel back there as often as possible.
